A Little Rest on the Horizon  /  Un Poco de Descanso en el Horizonte My vacation time begins on July 1st but I will meet with the Dean of our Deanery to go over various parish reports. And on the 2nd I will not be in the parish for a number of days. I will be in and out of the parish during the month of July. I will not be scheduling appointments during this time so that I can attend to administrative obligations. Fr. Beautifying our Church for the Glory of God  / Embelleciendo nuestra Iglesia para la Gloria de Dios Dear Good People of God, It is my hope to have the month of January 2026 dedicated to remodeling our church sanctuary. Quinceañeras, weddings and baptisms for the month of January will not be scheduled due to work that will be in progress in the church. I’m sure that we will have scaffolding, ladders, and equipment in the church. We will try to continue to offer daily Mass if at all possible. Our Saturday and Sunday schedule of Masses will continue as normal, but I do ask your understanding and patience as we celebrate Masses in the midst of whatever equipment is set up in the church. Sometimes There is Truth in Jest Have you ever felt like you have nothing to say for the moment? Have you ever been in a situation where you were expected to say “something” but you really had nothing to say? Well, my dear people, this is where I find myself this week. Perhaps I’m just talked-out and preached-out. My only consolation is that silence, at times, is absolutely golden and delicious.
