The St. Francis image is the one that the parish community voted for the most. I chose this image of St. Julia because it shows her on the cross. The Holiest of Weeks I think that the best spiritual guidance I can share with you, my dear sisters and brothers, is to try to be attentive as much as you possibly can to the events in Jesus’ life that we remember this week. Do what you can to be aware of Jesus’ passion and all the reasons (the life and example) that took Jesus to these events. Pick up your bibles, open them to the Gospel passages that recount the events of Jesus’ last few days. Bring them to life in your minds and in your hearts. Please do what you can to join the community in the various liturgical services during Holy Week. Let them nourish your spiritual life and strengthen your faith and love for God. We...
