A Jewel in the Making

I want to thank you, the good people of St. Julia, for your generosity during the first collection in restoring the tabernacle and finishing the interior of the church.
With this week’s second collection we will be able to accomplish our goal. Thank you so much!
As you can see this weekend, the new carpeting has been installed on the sanctuary floor, and the baldacchino has been installed.
There remains a number of other elements that still need to be done. As they become available, we will do so. I hope that you will enjoy the process as everything comes together.
This project will come to its completion because of all of us. This is the community’s work in creating a more beautiful atmosphere for worship and prayer.
Our church is definitely not the largest of churches, but it will be a jewel by the time we finish. May it bring you much joy and help you to draw closer to God and to one another.
I’m just so happy that I will be able to see the interior of the church completed before I leave. It’s a little gift that I leave you in gratitude for everything that you mean to me. May everything that we are doing be a song of praise to God for what God means to each and every one of us.
With a grateful heart, you are in my prayers and in my heart.

Una joya en formación

Quiero darles las gracias a ustedes, la buena gente de Santa Julia, por su generosidad durante la primera colecta destinada a la restauración del sagrario y a la finalización del interior de la iglesia.
Con la segunda colecta de esta semana, podremos alcanzar nuestra meta. ¡Muchísimas gracias!
Como pueden ver este fin de semana, ya se ha instalado la nueva alfombra en el piso del santuario, así como el baldaquino.
Quedan aún varios elementos por completar; a medida que estén disponibles, los iremos realizando.
Espero que disfruten del proceso a medida que todas las piezas van encajando.
Este proyecto llegará a su feliz término gracias al esfuerzo de todos nosotros. Es una obra de la comunidad, destinada
a crear un ambiente más hermoso para el culto y la oración. Ciertamente, nuestra iglesia no es la más grande de todas,
pero, para cuando hayamos terminado, será una verdadera joya.
Que esta obra les brinde mucha alegría y les ayude a acercarse más a Dios y los unos a los otros.
Me llena de inmensa alegría saber que podré ver el interior de la iglesia completamente terminado antes de mi partida.
Es un pequeño regalo que les dejo en señal de gratitud por todo lo que ustedes significan para mí. Que todo cuanto
estamos haciendo sea un canto de alabanza a Dios por lo que Él significa para cada uno de nosotros.
Con un corazón agradecido, los llevo presentes en mis oraciones y en mi corazón.
