Dear Good People of St. Julia,

I want to thank everyone who worked and contributed to making our Parish Festival a great success. I am so grateful and proud of all of us.

In a very special way I want to thank and congratulate Yasmin, who is the leader, motivator, organizer and everything else that is required to create the Parish Festival. From day one, Yasmin has proven to be a great leader and servant of our parish family. I greatly admire her ideas, her organizational skills, commitment, and never tiring attitude. Yasmin, we are very grateful for your service to our community, and we pray that God may bless you with abundant blessings and love. Thank you!

Depending on the final count of our profit, we will take a certain percent and apply it to the Bishop’s Annual Appeal (BAA) and the rest will go into the account for Phase 1 of the Master Plan. We will do the same with the proceeds from the Guadalupe celebrations.

This month we began a second monthly collection for the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. This year we will once again do our best to reach our goal, as we did last year, without burdening the parish family too much. We have continued to take out about 3% of our weekly collection and apply it to the BAA. It is my hope that together with the commitment that some of our people make directly with the Diocese, we will meet our goal and obligation to the greater Catholic community of our Diocese.

Our parish family has a few financial challenges in order to complete Phase 1 of the Master Plan, remodeling the church interior, and repairing some of the exterior walls and painting. We will do it with everyone’s cooperation and generosity. When Phase 1 begins, we are going to ask many of you to contribute your time and talent. I hope you will come forward the way you always do so that we can complete this task as soon as possible and keep it within budget.

Thank you to all of you for making St. Julia such a joyful and wonderful parish family. I don’t know if you know this, but we are known in the Diocese as a parish that has the feel and warmth of family. I’m so glad that we have all created such a welcoming family here. And Yes!, we are also known as a community of deep faith and dedication. Isn’t that great!!!!!

Querida gente de Santa Julia,

Quiero agradecer a todos los que trabajaron y contribuyeron para que nuestro Festival Parroquial fuera un gran éxito. Estoy muy agradecido y orgulloso de todos nosotros.

De manera muy especial, quiero agradecer y felicitar a Yasmin, quien es la líder, motivadora, organizadora y todo lo necesario para crear el Festival Parroquial. Desde el primer día, Yasmin ha demostrado ser una gran líder y servidora de nuestra familia parroquial. Admiro profundamente sus ideas, su capacidad de organización, su compromiso y su incansable actitud. Yasmin, estamos muy agradecidos por tu servicio a nuestra comunidad y oramos para que Dios te bendiga con abundantes bendiciones y amor. ¡Gracias!

Dependiendo del resultado final de nuestras ganancias, destinaremos un porcentaje a la Campaña Anual del Obispo (BAA) y el resto se destinará a la cuenta para la Fase 1 del Plan Maestro. Haremos lo mismo con las ganancias de las celebraciones de Guadalupe.

Este mes iniciamos la segunda colecta mensual para la Campaña Anual del Obispo. Este año, como el año pasado, nos esforzaremos al máximo para alcanzar nuestra meta, sin sobrecargar demasiado a la familia parroquial. Hemos continuado destinando aproximadamente el 3% de nuestra colecta semanal a la Campaña Anual del Obispo. Espero que, junto con el compromiso que algunos de nuestros feligreses hacen directamente con la Diócesis, cumplamos con nuestra meta y compromiso con la comunidad católica de nuestra Diócesis.

Nuestra familia parroquial enfrenta algunas dificultades financieras para completar la Fase 1 del Plan Maestro, que consiste también en remodelar el interior de la iglesia, reparar algunas de las paredes exteriores y pintar. Lo haremos con la cooperación y generosidad de todos. Cuando comience la Fase 1, les pediremos a muchos de ustedes que contribuyan con su tiempo y talento. Espero que se presenten como siempre para que podamos completar esta tarea lo antes posible y mantenernos dentro del presupuesto.

Gracias a todos por hacer de Santa Julia una familia parroquial tan alegre y maravillosa. No sé si lo saben, pero en la Diócesis nos conocen como una parroquia con un ambiente familiar. Me alegra mucho que hayamos creado una familia tan acogedora. Y, ¡sí!, también somos conocidos como una comunidad de profunda fe y dedicación. ¡Qué maravilla!
