Happy New Year / Feliz Año Nuevo

So, here we are at the beginning of 2026.When we look back at 2025, what do we see?

When we look forward to 2026, what do we hope for?

Go ahead and approach these questions in prayer, turn them into a prayer. What kind of prayers will they be? Prayers of gratitude? Prayers of fear and anxiety? Prayers of hope? Prayers of sorrow? Prayers for healing? Prayers for peace? Prayers for guidance and wisdom? Prayers for success? Prayers for happiness and good health?

What kind of prayers will such questions lead us to take before our God? Just be yourself before the Lord and speak to God from the heart.

And, don’t do it just once. Place yourself in the midst of our prayers often and trust that what is to be, may be accepted in the faith that tells us that God never leaves our side.
I wish you much happiness, success and good health in the new year. May God pour blessings upon blessings upon you and your loved ones. I pray that we, as a parish family, may draw closer to God and to one another this coming year.

May we do everything possible to bring love and peace to the lives of others and that God may manifest his compassion through everything that we do.

Aquí estamos, al comienzo de 2026. Cuando miremos atrás, a 2025, ¿qué veremos?

Cuando miremos hacia adelante, a 2026, ¿qué esperamos?

Acérquense a estas preguntas en oración, conviértanlas en una oración. ¿Qué tipo de oraciones serán? ¿Oraciones de gratitud? ¿Oraciones de miedo y ansiedad? ¿Oraciones de esperanza? ¿Oraciones de tristeza? ¿Oraciones por sanación? ¿Oraciones por la paz? ¿Oraciones por guía y sabiduría? ¿Oraciones por el éxito? ¿Oraciones por la felicidad y la buena salud?

¿A qué tipo de oraciones nos llevarán estas preguntas ante nuestro Dios? Sean ustedes mismos ante el Señor y hablen con Dios desde el corazón.

Y no lo hagan solo una vez. Permanezcan en la oración con frecuencia y confíen en que lo que ha de ser, será aceptado con la fe que nos dice que Dios nunca nos abandona.
Les deseo mucha felicidad, éxito y buena salud en el nuevo año. Que Dios derrame bendiciones sobre ustedes y sus seres queridos. Oro para que, como familia parroquial, nos acerquemos más a Dios y los unos a los otros este año.
Que hagamos todo lo posible para llevar amor y paz a la vida de los demás y que Dios manifieste su compasión a través de todo lo que hacemos.
