Parish Retreats and Spiritual Formation
Two weeks ago I wrote in “From the heart” that I would like to provide parish retreats and spiritual formation presentations and workshops for our spiritual growth and development.
Now, I would like to take a step forward towards making this a reality at St. Julia.
I would like to form two Parish Retreat and Spiritual Formation Committees. One for the Spanish-speaking members of our community and another for the English-speaking members. These committees will be responsible for identifying themes for retreats, presentations, workshops, finding the directors and presenters, scheduling the events, and arranging the day(s) of the event. I will work closely with the committees.
If you would like to be a member of one of these committees, please call the parish office and leave your
information.
I hope that there will be enough people to form two small committees. Please consider this as a wonderful opportunity to serve your parish family’s spiritual growth. Many blessings will come from these spiritual events.

Retiros Parroquiales y Formación Espiritual
Hace dos semanas escribí en “Desde el Corazón” que me gustaría brindar retiros parroquiales, talleres y formación spiritual para nuestro crecimiento y desarrollo espiritual. Ahora me gustaría dar un paso adelante para hacer esto realidad en St. Julia.
Me gustaría formar dos Comités Parroquiales de Retiro y Formación Espiritual. Uno para los miembros de habla hispana de nuestra comunidad y otro para los miembros de habla inglés. Estos comités serán responsables de identificar temas para retiros, presentaciones, talleres, encontrar directores y presentadores, programar los eventos, y coordinar el día(s) del evento. Trabajaré de cerca con los comités.
Si deseas ser miembro de uno de estos comités, llame a la oficina parroquial y deje su información.
Espero que haya suficiente gente para formar dos pequeños comités. Considere esto como una maravillosa oportunidad para servir en el crecimiento espiritual de su familia parroquial. Muchas bendiciones vendrán de estos eventos espirituales.
