It Feels Like I’m Always Saying, “Thank You.”

It feels like it because I am saying “thank you” all the time here at St. Julia. My Lord, what a blessing!

There are reasons upon reasons upon reasons to say, “thank you.” We are so blessed with the constant and wonderful generosity of so many people in our community. And let me tell you something that is true: our generosity is recognized outside our community. Yes. We have the reputation of being a parish community that is not afraid of work nor sacrifice. We indeed have the reputation of being very responsible in our commitment to our parish and our people. How do I know this? Because I hear it from people in other communities, from priests and deacons, and diocesan personnel.

I share this with you because I thought you would want to know, and I hope that it brings blessings to you. This year’s Guadalupe events are a testimony of the generosity of so many of us. So, I thank everyone who contributed in any or all ways to making our celebrations so special again this year. A million “Thank Yous” to so many and especially to the entire Guadalupe Committee that led the organization and coordinated all the work and efforts.

May Our Lady of Guadalupe bless us. May we continue to rise above what can hinder us and conquer everything that tries to separate us. May the reality that we are all her daughters and sons, seep into our hearts. May everyone always find us with welcoming open arms that say: “Thank you for being here. Come in and make yourself at home.”

Parece que siempre estoy diciendo “gracias”

Parece que así es porque estoy diciendo “gracias ” todo el tiempo aquí en Santa Julia. ¡Señor mío, qué bendición!

Hay muchas razones para decir gracias ”. Somos muy bendecidos con la constante y maravillosa generosidad de tanta gente en nuestra comunidad. Y déjenme decirles algo que es verdad: nuestra generosidad es reconocida fuera de nuestra comunidad. Sí. Tenemos la reputación de ser una comunidad parroquial que no le teme al trabajo ni al sacrificio. De hecho, tenemos la reputación de ser muy responsables en nuestro compromiso con nuestra parroquia y nuestra gente. ¿Cómo sé esto? Porque lo escucho de personas en otras comunidades, de sacerdotes y diáconos, y personal diocesano.

Comparto esto con ustedes porque pensé que querrían saberlo y espero que les traiga bendiciones. Los eventos de Guadalupe de este año son un testimonio de la generosidad de tantos de nosotros. Así que, agradezco a todos los que contribuyeron de alguna manera para que nuestras celebraciones fueran tan especiales nuevamente este año. Un millón de Gracias ” a tantos y especialmente a todo el Comité Guadalupano que dirigió la organización y coordinó todo el trabajo y los esfuerzos.

Que Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe nos bendiga. Que sigamos elevándonos por encima de lo que nos pueda obstaculizar y venciendo todo lo que intente separarnos. Que la realidad de que todos somos sus hijas e hijos se filtre en nuestros corazones. Que todos nos encuentren siempre con los brazos abiertos y acogedores que nos digan:
“Gracias por estar aquí. Pasen y siéntanse como en casa”.
