Vox Ministries- We are:
“The voice of Christ: Youth Led, Youth Driven”

Goal: Create vibrant and spiritual youth activities and events, centered around musical, spiritual, community and social activities.
Purpose: Live out and serve God and others through “Faith and Action”.

**”Youth-led, youth-driven” refers to ways that young people are not just recipients of services or programs, but actively leading and shaping them. 

  • Youth-led looks at young people as creators and decision makers within a program.
  • Youth-driven shows the importance of our young people having leadership over the design of the programs that affect them. Empowering youth to serve as leaders within a community.

Ministerios Vox- Somos:
“La voz de Cristo: Dirigido por jóvenes, impulsado por jóvenes”

  • Objetivo: Crear actividades y eventos juveniles vibrantes y espirituales, centrados en actividades musicales, espirituales, comunitarias y sociales.
  • Propósito: Vivir y servir a Dios y a los demás a través de la fe y la acción.

**“Liderado por jóvenes, impulsado por jóvenes” se refiere a cómo los jóvenes no solo reciben servicios o programas, sino que los lideran y moldean activamente.

  • Liderado por jóvenes considera a los jóvenes como creadores y tomadores de decisiones dentro de un programa.
  • Impulsado por jóvenes muestra la importancia de que nuestros jóvenes lideren el diseño de los programas que les afectan. Empoderar a los jóvenes para que se conviertan en líderes dentro de una comunidad.

🎥NEEDED: Vox Social- Instagram Management, and Audio/Visual for Social (Youtube channel)

🙏Youth Holy Hour / Youth Night- May 15  7:00PM- Youth and Young Adults.

🦖🦖Night Out (August 1st 7:00-9:00PM) and 🤼🤼Festival (September 13th 1:00-5:00PM): Need Youth volunteers to dress as inflatable characters for BOTH events. Working in teams of two, dress in an inflatable costumes, walk around the festival, photo ops with visitors. Must be willing to be around kids and people.
For the FESTIVAL, we would also like to have a booth… no food sales… just pure fun! 🤼‍♂️🤼‍♂️🤼‍♂️

Who Is Jesus?
  • Jesus is God in human form. He is born human and divine.
  • He is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Savior of the world.
  • Jesus is the compassion and the love of God in human flesh.
  • He is our personal Lord and Redeemer who came into our world to forgive our sins and to reveal to us that God is a loving Father to all of us.
What did Jesus Teach?
  • Jesus taught that we, human beings, are totally loved and respected by God.
  • He taught us that God is a God to whom we can go to for everything, just as we are.
  • Jesus taught us that Our Loving God is humble and pure.
  • Jesus came to reveal to us that God is faithful to us and never leaves our side and that God has given us great wonderful abilities and talents.
    • Because of this, if we choose to to do so, together with Him we can create a better world for ourselves and for others.
  • Jesus taught us that if we follow His teachings,
    • Our love will be enriched by the goodness that we share with others and the peace this sharing gives us.
  • He taught us that He is The Way, The Truth and The Life. He is the way to God and to everything that God loves.
  • Jesus taught us to LOVE peace, to love joy and happiness, to love God with all our strength.
    • To love other as we love ourselves.
    • To be strong in our good and moral conduct.
    • To rely on Him when we need strength.
    • To always forgive and to ask for forgiveness when we need to.
  • Jesus taught us that life itself is holy and that we have the responsibility to maintain it and recognize it as a holy and sacred.
  • He taught us that much in life depends on us and that if we stay united to Him and faithful to his teachings, the world will be a better place.
What did Jesus do for us?
  • If we look at how Jesus lived and the example that he gave us, we see that he practiced everything that he taught.
    • He, God made flesh, humbled Himself and came to us as one of us.
    • He taught what was right and he paid the price for our sake.
    • The way He loved and everything that He stood up for, took Him to the cross for our sake, for the forgiveness of human sin, and to reveal to us the incredible love that God has for us.
  • Everything that Jesus did was so that we may come to realize what life is really all about, that God is life itself and apart from God, our life lacks a lot.
  • Everything that Jesus did was so that we would know how to live a good life, how to love God, and to teach us that it is impossible to love God unless we “love others and ourselves”.
  • Everything the Jesus did was out of love and for the sake of love so that we may understand that love is the greatest force on this earth.
  • Everything that Jesus did was to show us that we can imitate Him and love like Him “if we choose to”.
  • What Jesus did was to show us and teach us that God lives in each of us and among us.
    • It is a mystery that cannot be fully understood.
    • It can only be believed in and with the grace of God, be felt in the deepest places of ourselves.
  • God, in the person of Jesus, entered our world as one of us to demonstrate how lovingly God is present to us and how much He truly understands us.
  • God is always faithful, always kind and forgiving, always ready to help us. He is here to teach us that we need to change within ourselves and what we need to strengthen within ourselves so that we can live a good life. So we can make a positive difference on the earth.
