Divine Mercy Sunday: Peace be with you!
Domingo de la Divina Misericordia: ¡La paz sea con vosotros!
When Jesus was crucified, the apostles were afraid they would be arrested. They were also afraid that Jesus would be angry at them for denying Him. But he came to them with open arms, peace and love. They did not understand what was happening, and Jesus knew this. Jesus also gave them a gift of the Holy Spirit, a form of divine love that they could carry with them.
We learn from Jesus that love and mercy is the way in all aspects of our life.
Cuando Jesús fue crucificado, los apóstoles temían ser arrestados. También temían que Jesús se enojara con ellos por negarlo. Pero él se acercó a ellos con los brazos abiertos, paz y amor. No entendían lo que estaba sucediendo, y Jesús lo sabía. Jesús también les dio el don del Espíritu Santo, una forma de amor divino que podían llevar consigo.
Aprendemos de Jesús que el amor y la misericordia son el camino en todos los aspectos de nuestra vida.
