Have you ever seen a tiny, newborn baby? They can’t walk, they can’t talk, and they need help with everything.
Now, think about God. God is more powerful than a million superheroes, bigger than the whole galaxy, and stronger than any king who ever lived.
If you were that powerful, how would you come to Earth? In a golden jet? With a giant parade?

God did something much more surprising. He chose to be humble.
Humility is a big word that means: Putting your “greatness” aside to be close to others.

What if a pro basketball player played a game with a toddler? Would he run around the toddler so he can win? Or let them win out of kindness?

The Ultimate Example: God as a Baby

• God showed us the perfect “Humility Map” by coming to Earth as Jesus.
• He traded a Throne for a Manger: Instead of a palace, Jesus was born in a stable where animals sleep.
• He traded Power for Hugs: Instead of using lightning bolts to make people listen, He became a child who needed the love of a mom and dad.
• He traded Fame for Service: He didn’t come to be served by servants; He came to be the one who serves us!
• Why did He do it? Because He wanted to show us that the most important thing in the world isn’t being “the boss”—it’s being the best friend and helper you can be.

How to Use the “Jesus Humility Map” Today
Since Jesus showed us how to be humble, we can follow His lead! Here are some ways you can show “Baby Jesus Humility” this week:

1. Let Someone Else Go First
Jesus was first in the whole universe, but He put Himself last.

Try this: When the lunch line starts or it’s time to pick a game, say: “You go first today!” It shows you care more about your friend’s happiness than being at the front.

2. Do the “Small” Jobs
Jesus wasn’t too “big” to be a baby. You aren’t too “big” to help with small things.

Try this: Pick up the trash left on the table (even if it’s not yours) or help put away the toys. Doing the “boring” jobs without complaining is a huge act of humility!

3. Listen to Others
God is all-knowing, but as a child, Jesus listened and learned.

Try this: When a friend is telling a story, don’t interrupt to talk about yourself. Just listen and say, “That’s really cool!” That makes them feel important, just like Jesus makes us feel important.

4. Admit When You’re Wrong
Humility means we don’t have to be “perfect” all the time.

Try this: If you break a rule or hurt a feeling, don’t hide it. Say, “I messed up, I’m sorry.” That takes way more strength than being a “tough guy.”

The Humility Secret
When we act like Jesus, we realize a secret: The smaller we make ourselves, the more room we have for God’s love to grow in our hearts. Humility doesn’t mean you are “less” than anyone else—it means you are exactly like Jesus!

4. Admite cuando te equivocas
La humildad significa que no tenemos que ser “perfectos” todo el tiempo.
Prueba esto: Si rompes una regla o hieres un sentimiento, no lo ocultes. Di: “Metí la pata, lo siento”. Eso requiere mucha más fuerza que ser un “tipo duro”.
