The Suscipe Prayer Prompt: “The 4-Step Surrender”

Based on the spirituality of the Servants of Christ Jesus, here is a simple way to start your conversation with God today:

1. Liberty (The Schedule): “Lord, I give You my plans for the rest of today. If You want to change my schedule, give me the grace to follow Your lead.”
2. Memory (The Past):“Lord, I give You the things that happened earlier today—the wins and the mistakes. I leave them in Your hands so I can be present with You now.”
3. Understanding (The Stress): “Lord, I give You the things I’m trying to figure out or fix. I trust that You have a plan even when I don’t understand it yet.”
4. Will (The Heart): “Lord, I don’t just want my way; I want Your way. What is one thing You want me to do next?”
5. Close with the words of the Servants: “Take, Lord, and receive. Your grace and Your love are enough for me.”
