Baptisms at Saint Julia Catholic Church are scheduled on a regular basis throughout the Liturgical year.
- All parents seeking baptism for their child must be registered members of the parish
- A copy of the Godparent/Sponsor form should be filled out by your chosen Godparent(s) and returned to the parish office at least 1 month prior to the baptismal ceremony. The form can be picked up and dropped off at the parish office Tuesday through Friday during regular business hours 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM.
- Parents and Godparents must attend a preparation course for the child they are bringing forward to be Baptized.
- Parents must come to the office and register for class up to 3 weeks BEFORE the pre-Baptismal class.
- The Baptismal Preparation Course, consisting of 1 session, provides a time of reflection, sharing, and learning about the graces of Baptism.
Baptismal Preparation Courses
- Spanish: The 2nd Saturday of each month in the Parish Hall.
- English: Times to be determined. Contact Anna Vasquez to schedule for your Baptismal Preparation classes.
- Children are NOT allowed in these classes.
- These classes are approximately two hours long, so we require prompt arrival. Rescheduling the class may delay the Baptism date.
Baptism Ceremonies
- Spanish: The 4th Saturday of each month at 1:00 PM.
- English: The 4th Saturday of each month at 2:00 PM.
