{"id":9838,"date":"2025-05-28T15:37:54","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T19:37:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stjuliasilercity.org\/?p=9838"},"modified":"2025-06-05T12:41:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T16:41:18","slug":"the-ascension-hero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjuliasilercity.org\/es\/the-ascension-hero\/","title":{"rendered":"Part 1-The Ascension Superhero"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">The Story of the Holy Spirit&#8230; La historia del Esp\u00edritu Santo&#8230;<\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Part 1&#8230;\u00a0Parte 1<\/h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">I Am Part of the Ascension of the Lord \/ Yo soy parte de la Ascensi\u00f3n del Se\u00f1or<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>We learn from the readings<\/strong> on the Feast of the Ascension, that Jesus did come to restore the kingdom to Israel,\u00a0but it was in God&#8217;s plan to include US in His plan.<br \/>\nWhat they thought was going to be a big superhero moment, ended up being a <strong>DISAPPOINTMENT<\/strong> to the apostles,\u00a0when Jesus didn&#8217;t bring out<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>His magic sword and gamma ray&#8230;<\/em><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Instead He tells them&#8230;\u00a0<em>&#8220;It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority.\u00a0But YOU will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon YOU, and YOU will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Now I know what you are thinking&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>How could I have anything to do with something that happened over 2000 years ago?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>What can I honestly do to make a difference in someone&#8217;s life today?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>I don&#8217;t read the bible, I am not that good of a Christian and I don&#8217;t know anything about how to help others&#8230;\u00a0 or do I?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">While the superheroes in Marvel are not really a thing, we have all been given a superpower, through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, to use for the good of man&#8230;&#8230; if used properly of course!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Aprendemos de las lecturas<\/strong> de la Fiesta de la Ascensi\u00f3n que Jes\u00fas vino a restaurar el reino de Israel, pero que estaba en el plan de Dios incluirnos en su plan.<br \/>\nLo que pensaron que ser\u00eda un gran momento de superh\u00e9roes, termin\u00f3 siendo una DECEPCI\u00d3N para los ap\u00f3stoles, cuando Jes\u00fas no sac\u00f3<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>su espada m\u00e1gica ni su rayo gamma&#8230;<\/em><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">En cambio, les dice: <em>&#8220;No les corresponde a ustedes saber los tiempos ni las \u00e9pocas que el Padre ha establecido con su propia autoridad. Pero recibir\u00e1n poder cuando el Esp\u00edritu Santo venga sobre ustedes, y ser\u00e1n mis testigos en Jerusal\u00e9n, en toda Judea y Samaria, y hasta los confines de la tierra.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Ahora s\u00e9 lo que est\u00e1n pensando&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo podr\u00eda tener algo que ver con algo que sucedi\u00f3 hace m\u00e1s de 2000 a\u00f1os?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 puedo hacer honestamente para marcar la diferencia en la vida de alguien hoy?<br \/>\nNo leo la Biblia, no soy muy buen cristiano y no s\u00e9 nada sobre c\u00f3mo ayudar a los dem\u00e1s&#8230; \u00bfo s\u00ed?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Si bien los superh\u00e9roes de Marvel no son realmente una leyenda, todos hemos recibido un superpoder, a trav\u00e9s de los dones del Esp\u00edritu Santo, para usarlo en beneficio de la humanidad&#8230; si se usa correctamente, claro!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"&quot;Unless You Help&quot; | The Ascension of the Lord (Fr.
