A Tale With Two Stories \/ Una historia con dos historias<\/h1>\n

“Prodigal” can mean “wastefully extravagant, especially with money, time, or energy, or, someone who has returned after an absence, often after a period of bad behavior.”
\n“Pr\u00f3digo” puede significar “desperdiciador y extravagante, especialmente con dinero, tiempo o energ\u00eda, o alguien que ha regresado despu\u00e9s de una ausencia, a menudo despu\u00e9s de un per\u00edodo de mal comportamiento”.<\/h3>\n

Even those of us who have not lived a lavish life or went against our parents, family or friends, we all experience this everyday in our lives. How we sometimes ignore God, our own children or family\/friends. How we get distracted by other things in our lives which harm or hurt others in many ways.
\nOne thing that is seldom discussed when talking about the prodigal son is the older brother in the story, who is jealous and angry when the father forgives and celebrates the younger son. This story above anything else, teaches us about forgiveness of others, in all that we live and do; just as we pray God does for us.
\nWatch the videos below, and think how you may have been the prodigal son to someone in your life. Then think how you may have been the father or the brother in the story.<\/strong>
\nHow do we as God’s sons and daughters live our lives to love and serve others and God with grace and forgiveness? How can we make changes in our lives? Do we choose to live those changes?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Incluso quienes no hemos vivido una vida lujosa o hemos llevado la contraria a nuestros padres, familiares o amigos, experimentamos esto a diario. C\u00f3mo a veces ignoramos a Dios, a nuestros hijos o familiares\/amigos. C\u00f3mo nos distraemos con otras cosas que da\u00f1an o hieren a otros de muchas maneras.
\nAlgo que rara vez se menciona al hablar del hijo pr\u00f3digo es el hermano mayor de la historia, quien siente celos y se enoja cuando el padre perdona y celebra al hijo menor. Esta historia, por encima de todo, nos ense\u00f1a sobre el perd\u00f3n a los dem\u00e1s, en todo lo que vivimos y hacemos; tal como oramos para que Dios lo haga por nosotros.
