What a wonderful time of the year, says the song. Indeed, it is. Christmas is a beautiful time and I hope and pray that you really enjoy it.<\/p>\n
From our Catholic perspective, Christmas time begins on Christmas day and it moves forward all the way to the feast of Our Lord\u2019s Baptism shortly after Epiphany. That takes us into January. While Advent was a time of spiritual preparation for the day of the Incarnation, Christmas time is The Time of celebrating the Incarnation of God in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. The spiritual fruits of our spiritual preparation are now celebrated during the long-anticipated Christmas time.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m sure that many Christmas trees and decorations will come down during Christmas time. The gifts received may or may not continue to be enjoyed. The extra pounds we put on at Christmas dinner will accompany us for a while, and all the excitement of Christmas will slowly get lost in the return to our normal routine.<\/p>\n
This is exactly the perfect time for Jesus to move inward, away from the gifts and decorations and move into our hearts. This is the time when we can come to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas and what it means for us and for our world. It\u2019s the time to put the nativity scenes away and turn our hearts into the place where Jesus is born and reborn. When all the glitz of Christmas is gone, the real spark of the Incarnation begins.<\/p>\n
So, let us be grateful for the beauty and the excitement of Christmas. Let us be grateful for the time spent together as family and for the sparkle in our children\u2019s eyes. Let us now move deeper and let the beauty of God enter our lives and greet Jesus with excitement, reverence, and gratitude. Let our hearts sparkle with the innocence of longing for God.
\nLet our hope rest on the teachings of Jesus which we already know.<\/p>\n
It is a wonderful time of the year as we create room in our hearts for Jesus.<\/p>\n

Desde nuestra perspectiva cat\u00f3lica, la \u00e9poca navide\u00f1a comienza el d\u00eda de Navidad y contin\u00faa hasta la fiesta del Bautismo de Nuestro Se\u00f1or, poco despu\u00e9s de la Epifan\u00eda. Eso nos lleva hasta enero. Mientras que el Adviento era un tiempo de preparaci\u00f3n espiritual para el d\u00eda de la Encarnaci\u00f3n, la \u00e9poca navide\u00f1a es el tiempo de celebrar la Encarnaci\u00f3n de Dios en la persona de Jes\u00fas de Nazaret. Los frutos espirituales de nuestra preparaci\u00f3n espiritual ahora se celebran durante la tan esperada \u00e9poca navide\u00f1a.<\/p>\n
Estoy seguro de que muchos arbolitos y adornos navide\u00f1os se quitar\u00e1n durante la \u00e9poca navide\u00f1a. Es posible que sigamos disfrutando de los regalos que recibimos o no. Este es exactamente el momento perfecto para que Jes\u00fas se mueva hacia nuestro interior, se aleje de los regalos y adornos y entre en nuestros corazones. Este es el momento en el que podemos llegar a apreciar el verdadero significado de la Navidad y lo que significa para nosotros y para nuestro mundo. Es el momento de guardar los belenes y convertir nuestros corazones en el lugar donde Jes\u00fas nace y renace. Cuando todo el brillo de la Navidad se ha ido, comienza la verdadera chispa de la Encarnaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
As\u00ed que, seamos agradecidos por la belleza y la emoci\u00f3n de la Navidad. Seamos agradecidos por el tiempo que pasamos juntos como familia y por el brillo en los ojos de nuestros hijos. Ahora vayamos m\u00e1s profundo y dejemos que la belleza de Dios entre en nuestras vidas y saludemos a Jes\u00fas con emoci\u00f3n, reverencia y gratitud. Dejemos que nuestros corazones brillen con la inocencia del anhelo por Dios. Dejemos que nuestra esperanza descanse en las ense\u00f1anzas de Jes\u00fas que ya conocemos.<\/p>\n
Es un momento maravilloso del a\u00f1o en el que creamos espacio en nuestros corazones para Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n
