Do we rely on titles, status, and superficial compliance, or do we allow His grace to transform our hearts into active charity?<\/p>\n<p>In this week&#8217;s Gospel <a href=\"https:\/\/bible.usccb.org\/bible\/readings\/101126.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Matthew 22:1\u201314<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, Jesus shares the Parable of the Wedding Feast, contrasting those who ignore the King&#8217;s call with those who show up without a true conversion of heart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Lesson Behind the Message:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Distraction:<\/strong> It is easy to let the busywork of modern life\u2014our jobs, errands, and endless to-do lists\u2014drown out God\u2019s constant invitation to prayer, Mass, and community.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Invitation:<\/strong> God opens His doors to everyone\u2014&#8221;bad and good alike.&#8221; Salvation is a free gift, and no one is excluded from His mercy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Garment:<\/strong> Simply showing up in body or holding a label isn&#8217;t enough. The &#8220;wedding garment&#8221; represents baptismal grace, personal repentance, and living out genuine love for our neighbors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><strong><span class=\"citation-516 citation-517 citation-518 citation-end-518\">Takeaway for the Week:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"citation-513 citation-514 citation-515 citation-end-515\">This week, look closely at how you wear your faith. Do<\/span><span class=\"citation-513 citation-514 citation-end-514\">n&#8217;t just hold onto a badge of membership; put on the coat of active charity by showing mercy, kindness, a<\/span><span class=\"citation-513 citation-end-513\">nd love to those you encounter every da<\/span>y.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><strong>The Example of St. Francis of Assisi:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>St. Francis lived this exact Gospel path. Born into a wealthy family, he grew up wearing fine clothes and holding grand ambitions of worldly fame and prestige. However, he came to realize that status and material wealth were heavy burdens that kept his heart trapped. He gave up his wealth, stripped off his fine garments, and chose a life of radical humility\u2014clothing himself in Christ&#8217;s love and serving the poorest among him. He exchanged the worldly <strong>&#8220;badge&#8221;<\/strong> of honor for the simple &#8220;coat&#8221; of divine love and charity.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\"><strong>Reflection of the Week<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"11\">This week, take time to look closely at how you wear your faith. El \u00abtraje de boda\u00bb representa la gracia bautismal, el arrepentimiento personal y vivir un amor aut\u00e9ntico hacia el pr\u00f3jimo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prop\u00f3sito para la semana:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Esta semana, observa atentamente c\u00f3mo llevas puesta tu fe. No te aferres simplemente a una insignia de pertenencia; rev\u00edstete con el manto de la caridad activa mostrando misericordia, bondad y amor a quienes encuentres cada d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El ejemplo de San Francisco de As\u00eds:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>San Francisco vivi\u00f3 exactamente este camino que nos muestra el Evangelio. Nacido en una familia acomodada, creci\u00f3 vistiendo ropas lujosas y albergando grandes ambiciones de fama y prestigio mundanos. Sin embargo, lleg\u00f3 a comprender que el estatus y la riqueza material eran cargas pesadas que manten\u00edan su coraz\u00f3n aprisionado. Renunci\u00f3 a sus riquezas, se despoj\u00f3 de sus finas vestiduras y eligi\u00f3 una vida de humildad radical, revisti\u00e9ndose del amor de Cristo y sirviendo a los m\u00e1s pobres.
