In this diagram, we see a clear boundary between what is inside our circle of control and what lies outside of it. So much of our stress stems from living outside of that circle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">We spend so much energy worrying about the future, trying to fix or change other people, stressing over outcomes, and the worst- replaying the past in our minds. Yet none of these things belong in our hands. They belong to God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">St. Francis of Assisi prayed, <strong>\u201cLord, make me an instrument of your peace.\u201d<\/strong> But to truly become that instrument, we must <strong>learn to surrender.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">To live in the Franciscan faith is to embrace a path of simplicity, humility, and radical trust in God\u2019s plan. St. Francis understood that true freedom does not come from controlling our surroundings, but from <strong>uncluttering the baggage<\/strong> we have.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Looking at the outer ring in the diagram we are reminded that God does not ask us to manage His timing, dictate how others perceive us, or control another person&#8217;s growth. When we work so hard trying to direct all these external forces, we lose the very peace Christ promised us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>TRUE<\/strong> spiritual peace starts when we draw a boundary between <strong>OUR<\/strong> responsibility and God\u2019s providence. The Gospel calls us to <strong>focus entirely on what God has placed within our circle<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Believing <strong>His<\/strong> Word<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Walking by faith each day<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Taking our thoughts captive when anxiety creeps in<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Praying with courage<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Choosing to love all people, especially those right in front of us<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">At the heart of this inner work is our choice to practice unconditional kindness and, above all, radical forgiveness. Holding onto the past or waiting for others to change keeps our own hearts captive. When we choose to release the outer burdens, we choose to forgive. We release what is out of our control, and surrender outcomes, past hurts, other people and the future into the hands of the Father\u2014we free up our hearts to give <strong>Him<\/strong> our full trust.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">St. Francis did not try to control the world around him; he simply chose to be a quiet mirror of Christ\u2019s love.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">When we relinquish our grip on how we think things &#8220;should&#8221; turn out, we begin to see the grace present in each moment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Rest is not found in having everything figured out; it is found in knowing the One who holds it all.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Use this diagram as a daily reflection. Choose forgiveness over resentment, kindness over judgment, and faithful action over worry.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Let go of the burdens you were never meant to carry, and place everything outside of our circle into the loving hands of the Father.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>He<\/strong> holds all things together.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div data-original-height=\"15\" class=\"vc_empty_space\" style=\" style=&quot;height: 15px&quot;\" >\n\t<span class=\"vc_empty_space_inner\"><\/span>\n<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Entrega y sencillez:<br \/>\nEncontrar la paz al estilo Franciscano<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Cuando la vida se siente pesada o abrumadora, suele ser porque intentamos cargar con un peso que nunca nos correspondi\u00f3. En este diagrama, vemos un l\u00edmite claro entre lo que est\u00e1 dentro de nuestro c\u00edrculo de control y lo que est\u00e1 fuera de \u00e9l. Gran parte de nuestro estr\u00e9s proviene de vivir fuera de ese c\u00edrculo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Gastamos mucha energ\u00eda preocup\u00e1ndonos por el futuro, intentando arreglar o cambiar a los dem\u00e1s, estres\u00e1ndonos por los resultados y, lo peor, reviviendo el pasado en nuestra mente. Sin embargo, nada de esto est\u00e1 en nuestras manos. Pertenece a Dios.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">San Francisco de As\u00eds or\u00f3: <strong>\u00abSe\u00f1or, hazme un instrumento de tu paz\u00bb<\/strong>. Pero para convertirnos verdaderamente en ese instrumento, <strong>debemos aprender a rendirnos<\/strong>.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Vivir la fe franciscana es abrazar un camino de sencillez, humildad y confianza radical en el plan de Dios. San Francisco comprendi\u00f3 que la verdadera libertad no proviene de controlar nuestro entorno, sino de <strong>deshacernos de la carga que llevamos<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Al observar el anillo exterior del diagrama, recordamos que Dios no nos pide que controlemos su tiempo, que dictemos c\u00f3mo nos perciben los dem\u00e1s ni que controlemos el crecimiento de otra persona. Cuando nos esforzamos tanto por dirigir todas estas fuerzas externas, perdemos la paz que Cristo nos prometi\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>La verdadera<\/strong> paz espiritual comienza cuando establecemos un l\u00edmite entre <strong>NUESTRA<\/strong> responsabilidad y la providencia de Dios. El Evangelio nos llama a <strong>centrarnos por completo en lo que Dios ha puesto dentro de nuestro c\u00edrculo:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Creer en <strong>Su<\/strong> Palabra<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Caminar por fe cada d\u00eda<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Controlar nuestros pensamientos cuando la ansiedad nos invade<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Orar con valent\u00eda<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Elegir amar a todas las personas, especialmente a quienes est\u00e1n frente a nosotros<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">En el centro de este trabajo interior est\u00e1 nuestra decisi\u00f3n de practicar la bondad incondicional y, sobre todo, el perd\u00f3n radical. Aferrarnos al pasado o esperar a que otros cambien mantiene nuestros corazones cautivos. Cuando elegimos liberarnos de las cargas externas, elegimos perdonar. Soltamos lo que escapa a nuestro control y entregamos los resultados, las heridas del pasado, a otras personas y al futuro en manos del Padre; liberamos nuestros corazones para confiar plenamente en <strong>\u00c9l<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">San Francisco no intent\u00f3 controlar el mundo que lo rodeaba; simplemente eligi\u00f3 ser un silencioso reflejo del amor de Cristo.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Cuando renunciamos a aferrarnos a c\u00f3mo creemos que &#8220;deber\u00edan&#8221; ser las cosas, comenzamos a ver la gracia presente en cada momento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">El descanso no se encuentra en tener todo resuelto, sino en conocer a Aquel que lo sostiene todo.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Usa este diagrama como reflexi\u00f3n diaria.
