Corpus Christi- The Body of Christ \/ El Cuerpo de Cristo<\/h1>\n

\"\"Corpus Christi:<\/strong> The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ is a celebration of Jesus among us in the Eucharist.<\/p>\n

It follows Christ\u2019s Resurrection on\u00a0Easter, the Descent of the Holy Spirit at\u00a0Pentecost, and the celebration of God in Three Persons on Trinity Sunday, in which we now celebrate Christ\u2019s constant presence here on earth, fully alive in the Eucharist.<\/p>\n

This feast celebrates the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, and the Holy Spirit is the agent through which the bread and wine are transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ. With the <\/span>Holy Spirit’s role in empowering the apostles at\u00a0Pentecost, through the power of apostolic succession, priests today continue making Christ’s presence real and active through the Eucharist.<\/span><\/p>\n

It solidifies our belief in the doctrine of TRANSUBSTANTIATION<\/a><\/strong>, which states that during the Mass, the bread and wine are transformed into the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ, despite remaining in the appearances of bread and wine.<\/p>\n

We know in faith the true meaning of the Eucharist \u2013 that He is here, with us.<\/p>\n

Corpus Christi:<\/strong> La Solemnidad del Sant\u00edsimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo es una celebraci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas entre nosotros en la Eucarist\u00eda.<\/p>\n
