I read a lot. I\u2019m always reading. I wasn\u2019t always like this. I remember when I hated to read, especially for school.

Somewhere along the line I discovered that it was ultimately up to me to educate myself about the things that interest me. Although I have a lot of schooling, I came to the point that I realized that it didn\u2019t give me everything I was really interested in. Saying it differently, I can say that as I grew, my interests and curiosity expanded. I learned that I just couldn\u2019t just leave it up to others to bring me the opportunities for learning. I had to create them myself. So, I started reading and the more I read, the more I learned. The more I learned, the more curious I became. The more I felt my mind opening up to new ideas and considerations, the more I read because of my insatiable desire to know more.<\/p>\n
So I keep reading and reading in order to open my mind to more and more.<\/p>\n
I read a lot on the topic of spirituality, the spiritual path, spiritual awakening, spiritual transformation, consciousness, quantum physics and its effects on spirituality, the workings of the human mind, mindfulness, contemplation, mythology, the cosmos and our human connection with it, theology, the transcendence and immanence of God, and how images of God affect our faith and relationship with God. Of course, there are many other topics, especially history, ecclesiology, politics, archeology, culture, and art. They tell us a lot about ourselves. As you can see, I have a great interest in human beings as spiritual beings, the evolution of the human race, and the human search for God. These interests have led me to drink plentifully from the collective wisdom of humanity and the unique wisdom of so many individuals. It has expanded the horizons of my mind, has helped me become a more informed individual, and it has actually turned me into a more compassionate man, as mysterious as that is. But, it has also helped me become aware of what is good in life and what is not good. Some say that ignorance is bliss. I think that only the ignorant can think that way. Knowledge, certainly is a double edge sword. Once you know, you know, and you can\u2019t escape from what you know. It\u2019s fascinating!<\/p>\n
What do you do to keep yourself informed about the faith you profess and life in general? Do you leave it up to others to inform you or do take the initiative and look for ways to challenge yourself toward growth? Do you expose your mind to new ideas, new perspectives, new insights and knowledge? How do you keep your faith informed? Are you comfortable staying on the surface of things or do you like to dive deep into new knowledge?<\/p>\n

Leo mucho. Siempre estoy leyendo. No siempre fui as\u00ed. Recuerdo cuando odiaba leer, especialmente para la escuela. Es curioso lo que la vida te hace y c\u00f3mo te cambia.<\/p>\n

Entonces, comenc\u00e9 a leer y cuanto m\u00e1s le\u00eda, m\u00e1s aprend\u00eda. Cuanto m\u00e1s aprend\u00eda, m\u00e1s curiosidad sent\u00eda. Cuanto m\u00e1s sent\u00eda que mi mente se abr\u00eda a nuevas ideas y consideraciones, m\u00e1s le\u00eda debido a mi deseo insaciable de saber m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
As\u00ed que sigo leyendo y leyendo para abrir mi mente a m\u00e1s y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
Leo mucho sobre el tema de la espiritualidad, el camino espiritual, el despertar espiritual, la transformaci\u00f3n espiritual, la conciencia, la f\u00edsica cu\u00e1ntica y sus efectos en la espiritualidad, el funcionamiento de la mente humana, la atenci\u00f3n plena, la contemplaci\u00f3n, la mitolog\u00eda, el cosmos y nuestra conexi\u00f3n humana con \u00e9l, la teolog\u00eda, la trascendencia e inmanencia de Dios, y c\u00f3mo las im\u00e1genes de Dios afectan nuestra fe y nuestra relaci\u00f3n con Dios. Por supuesto, hay muchos otros temas, especialmente historia, eclesiolog\u00eda, pol\u00edtica, arqueolog\u00eda, cultura y arte. Nos dicen mucho sobre nosotros mismos. Como puede ver, tengo un gran inter\u00e9s en los seres humanos como seres espirituales, la evoluci\u00f3n de la raza humana y la b\u00fasqueda humana de Dios. Estos intereses me han llevado a beber abundantemente de la sabidur\u00eda colectiva de la humanidad y la sabidur\u00eda \u00fanica de tantos individuos.
