How many times have you heard someone say they would do something, only to put it off or forget entirely? Or maybe they initially said “no” to helping out, but later felt bad and did it anyway?<\/p>\n

Actions speak louder than words, and it is easy to make empty promises when our heart isn’t fully in it. In this week’s reading, we look at what it truly means to follow through with our faith through action, not just words.<\/p>\n

The Lesson Behind the Message:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • The Struggle:<\/strong> The Struggle:<\/i> In our daily lives, it\u2019s easy to say the right things, check the boxes, or present ourselves as faithful on the outside while failing to follow God’s calling in our actions. On the flip side, people who start out off track or make mistakes are often judged, even when they genuinely repent and change their ways.<\/li>\n
  • The Reminder:<\/strong> God values genuine repentance and obedience over superficial compliance. It isn’t enough to speak with piety or carry a title if our actions don’t reflect love, grace, and obedience to God’s will. God\u2019s grace is always open to those who turn back to Him, no matter where they started.<\/li>\n
  • The Scripture:<\/strong> As Jesus teaches in Matthew 21:28\u201331, a father asks his two sons to work in the vineyard. The first says no, but later regrets it and goes. The second says yes, but never goes. Jesus asks, “Which of the two did what his father wanted?”<\/i> True obedience comes from doing the Father’s will, not just offering fake words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    God looks past our initial hesitation or past mistakes and focuses on the condition of our hearts today. Living a faithful life isn’t about perfection or saying all the right words\u2014it\u2019s about continuously choosing to align our actions with God’s love and direction.<\/p>\n

    \u00bfCu\u00e1ntas veces has o\u00eddo a alguien decir que har\u00eda algo, solo para posponerlo u olvidarlo por completo? \u00bfO tal vez inicialmente se negaron a ayudar, pero luego se sintieron mal y lo hicieron de todos modos?<\/p>\n

    Los hechos valen m\u00e1s que las palabras, y es f\u00e1cil hacer promesas vac\u00edas cuando no estamos completamente comprometidos. En la lectura de esta semana, analizaremos lo que realmente significa vivir nuestra fe a trav\u00e9s de acciones, no solo de palabras.<\/p>\n

    La lecci\u00f3n detr\u00e1s del mensaje:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    La lucha:<\/strong> En nuestra vida diaria, es f\u00e1cil decir lo correcto, cumplir con las expectativas o aparentar fidelidad, pero sin seguir el llamado de Dios con nuestras acciones. Por otro lado, quienes se desv\u00edan del camino o cometen errores suelen ser juzgados, incluso cuando se arrepienten sinceramente y cambian su comportamiento.<\/p>\n

    El recordatorio:<\/strong> Dios valora el arrepentimiento y la obediencia genuinos por encima de la obediencia superficial. No basta con hablar con piedad o tener un t\u00edtulo si nuestras acciones no reflejan amor, gracia y obediencia a la voluntad de Dios. La gracia de Dios siempre est\u00e1 disponible para quienes regresan a \u00c9l, sin importar su origen.<\/p>\n

    La Escritura:<\/strong> Como ense\u00f1a Jes\u00fas en Mateo 21:28-31, un padre les pide a sus dos hijos que trabajen en la vi\u00f1a. El primero se niega, pero luego se arrepiente y va. El segundo dice que s\u00ed, pero nunca va. Jes\u00fas pregunta: “\u00bfCu\u00e1l de los dos hizo lo que su padre quer\u00eda?”. La verdadera obediencia proviene de hacer la voluntad del Padre, no solo de palabras vac\u00edas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Reflexi\u00f3n de la semana:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Dios mira m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de nuestras dudas iniciales o errores pasados \u200b\u200by se enfoca en la condici\u00f3n de nuestro coraz\u00f3n hoy.
