Peace<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To speak on behalf of peace and to condemn war is what decent people do. To stand up for peace and to put the authors of war in their place is the work of courageous descent people.
\nTo be a voice for peace is to be Christian.
\nTo be a voice for peace has never been easy and blessed are they, as Jesus said.
\nSo now, politicians are condemning the Pope\u2019s words on behalf of peace because they don\u2019t like it.
\nWell, why don\u2019t they like it?
\nWhy wouldn\u2019t people of good will like when a spiritual leader speaks up for the good of humanity?
\nWhat\u2019s wrong with that? And why do they consider it political?<\/p>\n

The defensiveness that we\u2019re witnessing is absolutely absurd. It\u2019s easy to see through it to the insecurities and the quest for power and control from which they come.<\/p>\n

The killer point is that we now have politicians who think they can correct the Pope on theological and spiritual matters. It becomes even more absurd when such criticism comes from people that converted to Catholicism not too long ago. They must have gone through some rigorous theological training!
\nIgnorance and narcissism never fail to impress.<\/p>\n

Our Pope, in Cameroon just yesterday, appeared to remain faithful to the message of the Gospel. I for one, am proud of his lack of fear and of his commitment in being a voice for peace in the spirit of Jesus, Our Lord.<\/p>\n

Paz<\/h3>\n

Hablar en nombre de la paz y condenar la guerra es lo que hacen las personas decentes. Defender la paz y poner en su sitio a los art\u00edfices de la guerra es la labor de personas decentes y valerosas.
\nSer una voz a favor de la paz es ser cristiano.
\nSer una voz a favor de la paz nunca ha sido f\u00e1cil, y bienaventurados sean quienes lo hacen, tal como dijo Jes\u00fas.
\nAs\u00ed pues, ahora resulta que los pol\u00edticos est\u00e1n condenando las palabras del Papa en favor de la paz simplemente porque no les gustan.
\nBueno, \u00bfy por qu\u00e9 no les gustan?
\n\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 a las personas de buena voluntad no les habr\u00eda de gustar que un l\u00edder espiritual alce la voz por el bien de la humanidad?
\n\u00bfQu\u00e9 hay de malo en ello? \u00bfY por qu\u00e9 lo consideran un asunto pol\u00edtico?<\/p>\n

La actitud defensiva de la que estamos siendo testigos es absolutamente absurda. Resulta f\u00e1cil ver a trav\u00e9s de ella las inseguridades y la sed de poder y control de las que emana.<\/p>\n

Lo verdaderamente ins\u00f3lito es que ahora tengamos pol\u00edticos que creen poder corregir al Papa en cuestiones teol\u00f3gicas y espirituales. El asunto se torna a\u00fan m\u00e1s absurdo cuando tales cr\u00edticas provienen de personas que se convirtieron al catolicismo hace relativamente poco tiempo. \u00a1Sin duda deben de haber recibido una rigurosa formaci\u00f3n teol\u00f3gica!
\nLa ignorancia y el narcisismo nunca dejan de sorprender.<\/p>\n

Nuestro Papa, ayer mismo en Camer\u00fan, demostr\u00f3 mantenerse fiel al mensaje del Evangelio. Por mi parte, me siento orgulloso de su valent\u00eda y de su compromiso de ser una voz a favor de la paz, siguiendo el esp\u00edritu de Jes\u00fas, Nuestro Se\u00f1or.<\/p>\n
