She appeared as one of her people at a time when her people needed to recognize her.<br \/>\nIn their moment of pain, She came to them and She has remained with them. They are us; we are them, we are Hers, and She is ours.<br \/>\nThis coming week on Wednesday the Torch of Guadalupe arrives at our parish and we welcome the light that has traveled from Her Temple, throughout Mexico and the United States.<br \/>\nWe welcome the love and the hope that the light of the flame from Guadalupe brings to our minds and hearts.<br \/>\nThe Love of God, expressed in Mar\u00eda de Guadalupe\u2019s presence, gives us the faith to believe and the hope that makes us stronger and bolder to never allow rivers, walls, nor fear keep us distant from one another.<br \/>\nNo matter what side of the border we live, the Most Holy Virgin of Guadalupe reaches out to us, enfolds us in her sacred mantle, and allows us to find each other within such great love. If only we could look beyond the river, the fence, and the fear.<br \/>\nIf, by any chance, you can\u2019t seem to cross the river in one direction or the other, or if you think that you can\u2019t scale the wall or tear it down, or even if you feel overwhelmed by fear and suspicion, reach out to her who says to you:<br \/>\n\u201cAm I not here, I who am your Mother?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cTo the Virgin\u2026everything!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You are in my prayers and in my heart.<\/p>\n<p>Peace and good. Madre?\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ella se present\u00f3 ante el pueblo como una joven de piel color canela, vestida con las estrellas del cielo, iluminada por el sol y con la luna a sus pies. Se apareci\u00f3 como una de los suyos en un momento en que su pueblo necesitaba reconocerla.<br \/>\nEn su momento de dolor, Ella vino a ellos y ha permanecido con ellos. Ellos son nosotros; nosotros somos ellos, somos suyos y Ella es nuestra.<br \/>\nEl pr\u00f3ximo mi\u00e9rcoles, la Antorcha de Guadalupe llega a nuestra parroquia y recibimos la luz que ha viajado desde su Templo, a trav\u00e9s de M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos. Recibimos el amor y la esperanza que la luz de la llama de Guadalupe trae a nuestras mentes y corazones.<br \/>\nEl Amor de Dios, expresado en la presencia de Mar\u00eda de Guadalupe, nos da la fe para creer y la esperanza que nos fortalece y nos da la valent\u00eda para que ni r\u00edos, ni muros, ni el miedo nos separen. Sin importar de qu\u00e9 lado de la frontera vivamos, la Sant\u00edsima Virgen de Guadalupe nos tiende la mano, nos envuelve en su manto sagrado y nos permite encontrarnos en su inmenso amor. Ojal\u00e1 pudi\u00e9ramos ver m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del r\u00edo, el muro y el miedo.<br \/>\nSi por alguna raz\u00f3n no logras cruzar el r\u00edo en una direcci\u00f3n u otra, o si crees que no puedes escalar el muro ni derribarlo, o incluso si te sientes abrumado por el miedo y la desconfianza, ac\u00e9rcate a ella, que te dice:&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00bfAcaso no estoy aqu\u00ed, yo que soy tu Madre?&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;\u00a1A la Virgen\u2026 todo!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1n en mis oraciones y en mi coraz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Paz y bien.
