DESCRIPTION:Protect Your Health: Feast of St. Blaise & Blessing of the Throats 🕯️Protege tu salud: Fiesta de San Blas y Bendición de la Garganta 🕯️\n\nJoin us on Wednesday\, February 3\, 2027\, as we honor the Feast of St. Blaise\, a 4th-century bishop\, physician\, and martyr known for his miraculous healing of a young boy choking on a fishbone.\nIn keeping with this ancient tradition\, we will offer the Blessing of the Throats to all who seek protection from ailments of the throat and every other illness.\n\n📅 Date/Fecha: Tuesday\, February 3\, 2026  /  Martes\, 3 de febrero de 2026🕗 Time/Hora: ?? 📍 Location/Lugar: St. Julia’s Church\, Siler City / Iglesia de Santa Julia\, Siler City\n\nAcompáñanos el miércoles 3 de febrero de 2027 para honrar la festividad de San Blas\, obispo\, médico y mártir del siglo IV\, conocido por su curación milagrosa de un niño que se atragantaba con una espina de pescado.\nSiguiendo esta antigua tradición\, ofreceremos la Bendición de la Garganta a todos los que buscan protección contra las dolencias de garganta y cualquier otra enfermedad. \nWhat to Expect/Qué esperar: \n\n\nDuring the blessing\, the minister will place two crossed candles (traditionally blessed on Candlemas\, Feb 2nd) against your throat while reciting a prayer for your health and well-being. This beautiful ritual is a reminder of God’s care for our physical and spiritual health.\n\n\nDurante la bendición\, el ministro colocará dos velas cruzadas (tradicionalmente bendecidas el 2 de febrero\, Día de la Candelaria) contra su garganta mientras recita una oración por su salud y bienestar.
