Now, we,\r\nthe Friars, add our own vision and mission statement to compliment the parish\u2019s statement.\r\nIt is our gift to you:\r\nHumble Brothers Among the People\r\n\u201cAs Franciscan Friars serving the parish family of Saint Julia in the Diocese of Raleigh, North\r\nCarolina, we share our Franciscan charism and spirituality in communion with the people\r\nwe serve. The Divine Life, as revealed in God\u2019s Incarnation, is the light that guides us and\r\ncompels us to live the Gospel and build bridges of encounter.\r\nIn humble service, we walk with our sisters and brothers as\r\n\u2018Franciscans Ad Gentes\u2019 (Franciscans to the People) and empower them to active\r\ndiscipleship, leadership and service among the People of God.
