St. Julia and St. Francis
Our patron saint was from northern Africa. What did she look like? The above are representations of St. Julia by various artists.
The one I chose for our sanctuary is the first one on the left. Over her image will hang another smaller image of her. The second from the right. Both images are from the same artist. I was able to get in touch with the artist and she commissioned the painting to be printed to our specifications. The new pictures that will hang in the sanctuary are of St. Julia and St. Francis of Assisi. The frames for these pictures match the ones of our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Juan Diego.
Let me show the image of St. Francis that I am considering. It’s unique and beautiful. It all depends on whether we can acquire a clear large enough copy. What do you think?
May St. Julia intercede for us and our intentions and may the peace and joy of St. Francis fill our hearts.

Nuestra santa patrona era del norte de África. ¿Cómo era? Las imágenes de arriba son representaciones de Santa Julia realizadas por varios artistas.
La que elegí para nuestro santuario es la primera de la izquierda. Sobre su imagen colgará otra imagen más pequeña de ella. La segunda desde la derecha. Ambas imágenes son del mismo artista. Pude ponerme en contacto con la artista y ella encargó que se imprimiera la pintura según nuestras especificaciones. Las nuevas imágenes que colgarán en el santuario son de Santa Julia y San Francisco de Asís. Los marcos de estas imágenes coinciden con los de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y San Juan Diego.
Permítanme mostrarles la imagen de San Francisco que estoy considerando. Es única y hermosa. Todo depende de si podemos adquirir una copia clara y lo suficientemente grande. ¿Qué piensan?
